Charles LYON Obituary
LYON, Charles David John (RNZN). On 28 February 2025, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Dearly loved husband of Robyn. Loved and respected Father and Father-in-Law of John and Emma and Sarah. Much adored Grampa of Lucas and Sophia. Loved younger Brother of Helen and Norma. Loved Uncle to his nephews and niece. Charles touched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him. A service will be held at The North Harbour Chapel of Dil's Funeral Services, 185 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany, on Wednesday 5 March at 10:30 am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Harbour Hospice North Shore, Takapuna, Auckland would be appreciated.

Charles was a great uncle. You always knew there was fun to be had when he got a fling in his eye. He was always there to support. I am sorry I will not be there to share my memories. Love to Robyn, Sarah, Emma, Lucas and Sophia from Hamish, Kirstie, Luke, Molly and Anna
