Charles GOSPER Obituary

GOSPER, Charles Henry (Charlie, Chas) Late of Papakura Auckland and Opotiki. On Thursday 3rd July 2014 at Whakatane Hospital; aged 87 years. So dearly loved husband of Charleen and friend to her family. Dearly loved son of the late Charlie and Margaret (nee Henry) Gosper. His beloved sister the late Mrs Dawn Parker of Dargaville. Long term employee of Fisher and Paykel, Auckland. A service for Charles will be held in the Willetts Funeral Services Ltd Chapel, 21 King Street, Whakatane on Wednesday 9th July at 2pm followed by a private cremation. Communications please to the Gosper Family, C/- PO Box 2070, Whakatane.

Condolences. I am writing this message as my father (92 years old) shared memories of Charlie and Margaret, as well as Charles and Dawn. They were his neighbours in Okaihau. My Dad Rex Thomas lived next door them. I also remember Margaret when I was very young and visiting my grandmother. I recall her beautiful garden. Dad mentioned the Gospers today and so I thought I would search online. All the best. ps. I also came across the Gospers graves in Okaihau a few years ago. xx
