So very sorry to hear of the passing of Charles. Lots of memories of times spent with him here in Ireland.
Weekends in Rush, with us as small children and then later when the family visited from NZ. Indeed the last visit was in 2018 and we feel so lucky to have seen both Charles and Val at that time. Sending condolences to all the Dickens family.
With love from Gillian and Paul and family.

I had the good fortune of knowing and working with Chas in New Zealand in 1999 for Guinness.
He was a great character and a gentleman. Sincere condolences to Valerie and family.

Our sincere condolences to Val, Cathal, Kiara, Sinead and all the extended family. We were so sorry to hear the sad news of Uncle Charles's death and remember him so fondly. Charles of course was more like a brother to Mum and Dad (Geraldine & Billy) and Mum had such special memories of her visit to New Zealand which included the Chatham Islands. We too have great memories of visits to NZ where we were always so well looked after and entertained. Charles's visits to Ireland with you Val, and in earlier years with all the family, were also keenly anticipated and very much enjoyed. Happy times spent reminiscing, catching up and reconnecting. He was indeed a generous soul and will be sadly missed by us all. We will be thinking of you on Monday and will be with you in spirit.
With love and deepest sympathy.
Elaine, Judy, Brian, Janet, Alastair and family.
Take care.

If this is my mate Charlie from Lion Breweries, we made a lot of Guinness together in the 60's, and had many laughs and a lot of fun. His sense of humour was typical of his Irish heritage. A great guy, have a pint of the black stuff for me..
