Chantal STALLARD Obituary

Dear Virginia, Tony and Dominique,

I was fortunate in 2019 to have Chantal in a Drama class that I convene at the University of Auckland. I became aware of her illness during the course and was so sad to read of this news. Please accept my most sincere condolences on behalf of the Drama programme. Her Drama tutor Nisha noted that Chantal she was a gentle and kind force in class and such a pleasure to have known for such a short time. As part of her course, Chantal had to deliver a speech, and she did a lovely job of this, talking about self belief. Please do let me know if you would like me to send you a copy of this.

Dear Virginia, Tony and Dominique,
Our thoughts and love are with you. A lost battle bravely fought.
Our memories of Chantal are of a strong, determined, happy and ambitious young lady. Lost to us all far too soon.
May her star shine brightly for ever more.

To Virginia, Tony, Dominique and all of Chantal's family and friends. It is so unbelievable that Chantal has passed. She was an absolute legend - as a young girl and then as a young woman I had the pleasure of knowing Chantal and being involved in her care. I agree family 100% she showed such grace, strength and positivity. Even in very difficult times I saw how Chantal always made others feel at ease with her relaxed way, kindness and humour. I'll remember her lighting up when she talked about her friends, hang-outs with her family/ jamming with sis, performance art and her beloved old piano.
