WATT, Cedric James Landon. Born July 24, 1923. Passed away peacefully on the 14th of February 2023, aged 99. University Fencing Blue, Diploma of Teaching, Bachelor of Education, served as a soldier, Auckland Regiment and in NZ Medical Corps, Middle East, Italy and Japan, teacher at Avondale College. Chair, St Dominic's Parish Council. Beloved husband of the late Joan and brother of the late Nina. Beloved father of David and Lawrence. Dearly loved father-in-law of Sylena, in-whanau to Rhonda and Berthine. Cherished grandfather of Francesca, Acadia, Tanisha, Landon and Chantelle, step-grandfather of Monique. Dear great-grandfather of Brianna, Fyfe, Sebastian, step-great-grandfather of Bailey-Jean, Zoe and Daz. Requiem Mass at 11am, Friday 24 February, St Dominics Catholic Church, 34 Bolton Street, Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, burial at Waikumete Cemetery. 'Let angels guide thee to thy rest.'
