Selwyn SHANKS Obituary

SHANKS, Selwyn Keith (Ivankovic). Sunrise 8 May 1933 Sunset 26 November 2025, 92 years 6 months. Peacefully passed away into Cherie's waiting embrace, together again, now resting in love. Selwyn was a Son, respected Brother, loved Husband, much loved Dad, Step Dad , Uncle, Cousin , very proud Grandad and Great Grandad. Being a cheeky and fun loving GD and GG gave him such joy in his latter years. He was a steadfast friend to many and adversary to some. His passion for Softball and Rugby League as a Team member, Coach, Mentor, Manager and Administrator brought him immense pleasure during his long life. Selwyn will be remembered for his fun loving, friendly manner and the difference he made to many people who crossed his life path. His family expresses their sincere thanks to Evelyn Page Village, both fellow Residents and staff for their kindness and care recently, and over a number of years. Rest easy our Dad. A Funeral service will be held at The North Shore Memorial Park Chapel, 235 Schnapper Rock Road, Albany on Friday 5 December at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation.
