Catherine IOELU Obituary

Ioelu, Catherine Maree. Passed away peacefully with Christ on 17 October 2025, aged 64. Dearly beloved wife and best friend of Polata'ivao To'o. Cherished mother of Kalita, James, Leata, Joshua and Leilani. Loving mother-in-law of Benetti, Pauline, Tasha and Isaac. Doting Grandma of Aquillah, Tarquinius, Isaac, Mia and Kiera. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Michael's Catholic Church, 6 Beatrice Rd, Remuera on Tuesday 21 October at 10am. Followed by burial at Mangere Lawn Cemetery, 85 McKenzie Road, Mangere. We love you to the moon and back. Rest in peace Mum.

My heart felt thoughts go to Willie and family in these difficult and sad times. The time spent at ESOL meetings catching up and sharing ideas and at water polo games with Flynn and Lelani will always hold a special place for me. Cathy was truly a remarkable and wonderful woman.
