Though you are no longer in this world,
you have never left my heart.

I still find myself wanting to tell you the little things,
the quiet moments we once shared as if you were still right here with me.

I hope that wherever you are,
you can feel how deeply you are loved, today and always.

You came into my life as someone I cared for...
but you became someone I loved like my own mother.

In the quiet moments we shared each day, you gave me more than I could ever give back, your trust, your kindness, your gentle heart.

You never asked for much,
yet you gave so much just by being you.

Thank you for letting me walk beside you in this life.
