Catherine BUCHANAN Obituary

BUCHANAN, Catherine. On Tuesday April 7th, 2026 passed away at the age of 90. Born in Scotland, she was the daughter of Peter and Mary and the wife of the late Matthew for 52 years. She will be lovingly remembered. Mum to Fiona, Matthew, Peter and Anne. Mother-in-law to Warren, Michael, Kitty and Sally. Adored Grandma of Lucy, Sarah, Kate, Adam, Emma, Thomas, Jasmine, Rebecca, Charlie, Samantha and Great Grandma to Hugo. She adored all of them and would light up when seeing them. She was the heart of every family gathering. Rest in peace Mum. A s per her wishes, Mum will be celebrated with a Funeral Mass at St Francis de Sales and All Souls Catholic Church in Devonport. A private cremation will follow. A celebration of Mum's life will be held immediately after Mass at The Officers Mess, Fort Takapuna, 170 Vauxhall Rd, Devonport.
