Catherine Birchall Obituary

BIRCHALL, Catherine Isabella (Kay). On 4 May 2011 peacefully in her 91st year. Mum left this life as she lived it on her own terms. Beloved wife for 64 years of the late Ian Alfred. Loved and admired mother and mother-in-law of Coral (deceased), Anna, Warrick, Brent and Karen, Gaylene and Gordon Walker, Laurene and Grant Smith, Cherysse and Stefan McKinney. Brave and feisty Nana of her grandchildren and treasured "Old Nana" of her many great and great-great- grandchildren. A service for Kay will be held at the Chapel of Morris & Morris Funeral (entrance 17 Western Hill Dr) Whau Valley, Whangarei at 1.30pm tomorrow Friday 6 May 2011 followed by interment at the Onerahi Cemetery, Whangarei. Our grateful thanks to Chris and staff of Riverview Villa for years of devoted care and Anu and staff at Unit C, Puriri Court for recent care and comfort.
