What a shock it has been to hear the amazing Carole has suddenly passed away. I cannot imagine how much of a loss it is to Bruce and the family.

Carole was incredibly hardworking, generous, kind, caring and thoughtful. I met Carole through work - she was my head supervisor for so many years and what an amazing job she did - both Carole and Bruce's contribution was huge. My role finished in 2018 and Carole has always kept in touch. It made my day when once or twice a year an email would pop up to check in on me! I last heard from Carole in June - enjoying life and saying how lucky she was to be able to visit her family no matter where they were. I was very much looking forward to seeing Carole next year - she was hoping to be down this way to visit a friend and was going to get in touch.

How much I will miss you Carole. One of life's gems. Gone way too early - with so much more to pack into your busy life. The world needs more people like you. I will treasure yours and Nici's book and bake some things in your memory. My thoughts are with Bruce and the family at this very sad time.

Can't remember the first game we met Carol and Bruce, was it a Netball Game, a Soccer match, water polo, Lacrosse, or Cricket, so many!.... you both were always there on the sidelines supporting the grandkids and thankfully helping some of us parents with the rules and what and when to scream or yell.
Thank you Carole! and thank you Bruce!

So sorry to hear the sad news. Thinking of you and your family, Bruce. What a truly marvellous woman Carole was. What warmth. Rob and I have been remembering our adventures with the two of you in Kathmandu together - 20 years ago! It's so wonderful that more people got to see Carole's smile when see started collaborating with Nici in the kitchen. Such a full life. I am sure Carole left a bit of magic all over the place that will see her live on.

I was with Carole in Kathmandu, Nepal about 20 years ago. I was with my daughter, Tyla who was about 8 months old. The 3 of us had a great laugh together touring the area while Bruce and my wife were working away in the city. I remember one crazy night where bicycle rick shaw races took place between Bruce and Carole and myself and Donna. I think Bruce and Carole were so fast the bicycle rickshaw almost turned over. Fun times. Good memories!!
