ROWAN, Carol (nee Hartley). Born June 07, 1946. Passed away on September 11, 2024. Carol Rowan, 78 of Papamoa Beach, Tauranga (born in Skipton, Yorkshire, England and grew up in Newcastle, England) passed away on the 11th September after a decline in health. Adored Daughter of James Victor Hartley and Dorothy Smith Hartley. Dearly loved Sister of Barrie Hartley. Beloved Wife of 54 years to late Husband Barry and loved Mother and Mother-in-law of Nicky and Paul. Cherished and fun-loving Grandma of Jade, William and Charlotte. We have so many happy memories and you will be always be remembered for your sweet, kind, youthful nature and beauty. Please join Carol and Barry's family to celebrate the life of Carol Rowan and to honour the memory of Barry Rowan who passed away nearly two years ago. The Service will be held at 2:15pm on Saturday 5th October at the Takapuna Boating Club, 39 The Strand, Takapuna Beach.
