Carol MCCATHIE Obituary

MCCATHIE, Carol Joy (nee Blackwell). Passed away peacefully at home on 27th October 2025 aged 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Ron McCathie. A loved Mother and Mother in Law of David and Pamela, Gaylene and Mike. She was a cherished Grandmother to Zane, Alana, Andrew, Levi and Kyle, and a very special Great Grandmother. Carol will be deeply missed by all her extended family and friends. A private service will be held in accordance with Carol's wishes

Mrs McCathie, thank you to you and Mr McCathie for being such a special part of my childhood. And to Mrs Blackwell who loved her roses and the only person to call my Dad, Ernie.
Vivid memories of many long hot summer days in Palm Beach, swimming and playing in the sand.
Coming first in the talent show singing "Raindrops keep falling on my head"
Carol McCathie as singing coach and wardrobe designer.
A holiday in Kelston being shown around the big city, shopping, visiting friends and days at the beach.
Sending condolences to you all, I hope she went peacefully and pain free.

McCATHIE, Carol. Passed away peacefully in her home. Loved sister of Edward (Ted Blackwell) (deceased) and sister-in-law to Helen. Loved aunty to Noel and Michael Blackwell and their families. I will miss our phone calls Carol but will think of you often. May you rest in peace.
