Carol BURRIDGE Obituary

BURRIDGE, Carol Anne (nee Hart). Born February 10, 1943. Passed away on January 25, 2024. Our darling mum and nan passed away today aged 80 at 2am in Middlemore hospital, with her husband of 61 years, John Burridge, by her side. She died peacefully in her sleep after a tough two years of ill health. We are all relieved she is no longer suffering. Carol is survived by John, her daughters Kerry and Sarah, son-in-laws Ian McWilliam and Alistair Kirk, and grandchildren Abby, Liam, Sam and Baxter. She will be hugely missed. We wish to record our thanks for all the wonderful staff in Middlemore and other medical professionals for the care and treatment afforded her over the long period of ill health. Rest in peace Carol.
A private family cremation will be held. A celebration of Carol's life will be advised at a later date.
