PICKARD, Carey John. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4th 2018, surrounded by his family. Loved husband of 49 years of Wendy (nee Hill). Dearly loved Father and father in law of Brendan and Nicky, Erin and Dwain, Heather and Jamie, Penny and Sid. Adored and loved Grandad of Eden, Briar and Riley, and dearly loved friend of Marge the cat. The only daddy that'll walk the line, We love you Arohanui. God Bless. A Service for Carey will be held at the Elim Church, 77 Station Rd, Paeroa, on Wednesday, 10th of October 2018 at 1pm followed by a private cremation. Thank you Carey,You were at the other end of the phone when I reached out for help 31 and a half years ago and you were still there for others last month.Thank you for saving my life and for being a great example to others.May you rest in peace and I look forward to seeing you again.

I I I have fond memories of times together at Horeke, Cockle Bay and Papakura, and know Carey was well loved and will be missed greatly. Edwin too remembers his time staying with you at Cockle Bay.
