SMITH, Burns Abraham James. Died on 7 October 2018 at Radius Matua. Much loved husband of Aylmer (deceased). Treasured Dad and friend to Derek (deceased) and Linda, Anne and Paul. Loved Grandad to Rebecca, Lizzie, Jonathan and Rachel and great pa to Jaxon, Finley, Olivia, Georgia and Austin. At peace, after three difficult years, tending to the gardens in heaven alongside Aylmer and Derek, who he missed so much. The family expresses its grateful thanks to the staff at Radius Matua for their generous care and support. A service for Burns will be held at St Columba Presbyterian Church, 502 Otumoetai Road, Tauranga on Friday 19 October at 2pm followed by a private cremation.
