Bruce WILSON Obituary

WILSON, Bruce Robert. At the age of 48, and at the end of an incredible journey Bruce passed away at home late afternoon on Sunday 8th December 2013 with loving wife Karen and sister Meg by his side. The peaceful passing was the most perfect conclusion to a sadly lost, but dedicated battle against Melanoma brain tumours. Now safely in the arms of Mother Nature. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held at 252 Hawthorne Road, RD6, Te Awamutu on Friday 13th December 2013 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, you are invited to make a donation to Melanoma Foundation of New Zealand, in Bruce's memory. and these may be left at the service. I first meet Bruce on the 'Spirit of Adventure' and this was fully embraced by Bruce in the way he lived his life.
My fond memories of Bruce :
not the conformist Bruce followed his heart..
Quite partial to a bacon sandwich, and always in favour of some 'Split Enz' and 'Th Dudes'
Bruce, I wish I had half as much courage and conviction as you have shown. we had some great times , you will be sadly missed.

WILSON, Bruce Robert. Aged 48. Beloved son of Bob and Diana previously of Tairua. Beloved husband of Karen. Much loved brother of Fiona, Gordon and Margaret. Brother in law of Bishop, Margaret, and David, dearly adored uncle of Holly, Tayla and Josh. "So dearly loved, so sadly missed, Happy Hunting mate".
