I can see you now in the real estate office in Remuera. A welcoming smile and always there to chat through anything.

I´m at an absolute shock and surprise to hear the sad news

My heart just missed a beat when receiving this news.. I did not know Bruce very well but we met last March / April in Rote whilst surfing and (me) photographing Tland.. we had an instant friendly connection, I am originally from the Netherlands but live in Australia and Indonesia.. so there was lots to talk about.. what a beautiful and kind person, I am so sorry for this loss.. my deepest condolences for family and lifelong friends, Evelyne

Thinking of you and the family Deb, devastating news you are in our thoughts and prayers . Bruce started as my landlord which developed into a great friendship, occasionally you and Bruce would pop into the apartment in Mission Bay to say hi and have a glass of wine Bruce and I would yak about rugby and surfing. Treasured memories of not only a special man but a special partner and special family.
Rest in love Bruce we will miss you mate but guaranteed never forget you one for the road

Dear Debbie and dear Webb family, I'm still shocked for this incredible loss..
My husband Dario who passed away in 2012, considered Bruce like a brother and he became the same for me every time he visited Viadana in Italy. Me and Dario shared beautiful moments with Bruce, Debbie and their wonderful family and I had the honour of being their guest in NZ.
Bruce will remain in the hearts of his friends for ever..
Dear Debbie, I feel close to you in your grief...let your wonderful family and friends hold you up and carry you on through life. With love

Dear Debbie, Viv ,I am just still trying to fathom the loss of Bruce in your lives. Bruce was such a friend in the Opunake days. So much fun and mischief with Mike, Paddy and Graeme M. and others. He has always been a constant in my life since then and particularly over the last 20 years keeping in touch and catching up, eg the World Cup in Paris and lately at Piha. Dear Debbie, dear whole of Bruce´s family, Bruce has been our best friend for 45 years, since he came to play rugby in Viadana ( a small town in Northern Italy). He and Debbie visited us and we lived together many happy days, important moments of our life. We will treasure our friendship forever, we will treasure your kindness, your happy and positive attitude toward life.
But we will miss you so much as our life will not be the same without you. Thank you Brucello for everything you have donated to us. You will be with us forever. We love you all

Still in shock! Hard to fathom this. Bruce was a good man and I shared quite a few good times with him. We first met in our first year at St Kents. I have many memories of those days. Bruce also helped me with some real estate matters. Very professional and great at his profession. I'm shocked because he lived such a healthy lifestyle. He was fit and enjoyed his time with his family and travels. My sincere condolences to Debbie and his family & loved ones.
