Probably sometime around 1992, the hangars were echoing to the shattering bangs of dry ice bombs, we threw one out the back of Hangar three one evening but it refused to go off, so Toot jumped onto the Harlan, one hand on the steering wheel and one hand covering an ear, around and around he went trying to run over the dry ice bomb until..............BOOM!!! he nailed it, good old days Toot, thanks buddy.

Toot-where to begin! Thank you so much for your support and guidance and most of all the laughs and stories over the years-one night with Paris certainly grew legs over the years and beers in between! I will miss paddling out with ya at Tairua and so sorry I can´t be there in person-I will paddle out at Haleiwa for you. Karen, mere words cannot expresss how heartbroken we are for your loss, Toot gave more love, laughter, inspiration and legendary stories than one could ever ask for in a lifetime!
You´re in our thoughts and prayers, with much love, Marty and Wanda.

Oh Tooty! I cant begin to tell you what an impact you have had in my attitude towards life, let alone my career. I will forever cherish the memories created in heavy maintenance during the 777-200 upgrades. You and Les were my very first lead hands from the very start of my apprenticeship. I remember those years being the toughest years for me after losing my old man, but you got me through it with the chats, advise and many many laughs. You are the reason why I got into traveling, the stories about you and Karen taking months off to go exploring the world were truly inspirational. The BeeGees, cutting shapes, pole fishing with Freddy, the list goes on. Thank you for all you did for me, I will cherish you and your memories forever. Thank you for being the best mentor and such a good friend. Karen, words can´t begin to describe how heart broken I am for you. We are here for you and his legacy will live on through "his boys". Love from Shiv, Preeya and Arin.

Hi Karen, such devastating news and we are so sorry for your loss. The world is certainly a lot less humorous without my dear friend `Bob´ in it. His humour and laugh was contagious and able to lift the spirits of everyone in any surroundings. He gave us all such a positive and always a funny outlook to life, and I will miss him dearly.
Linda and I are overseas currently, and we wish you all the very best for the day, will be thinking of you.
I hope you received the photos that I sent via Freddy of some past fishing trips.
Loads of love Pete and Linda
