Bruce SHACKLETON Obituary

SHACKLETON, Bruce James. Passed peacefully 22 September 2025, surrounded by family, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Heather. Treasured father and father-in-law of Fiona and Milan. Cherished Granddad of Olivia, Sophia and Carlos. A service for Bruce will be held at Somervell Presbyterian Church, 497 Remuera Road, Remuera on Monday 29 September at 1pm.

Dear Heather&family
We were saddened to hear of Bruce´s passing .Deepest sympathy
The Feather/Shackleton/Cameron families have had a 99 year friendship starting in 1926 when twins George & Harry Feather aged 13yrs left Burnley for NZ on the ship Horata and were befriended by the Cameron family ..Bill & Margaret
George & Hazel had a very close friendship with `Daise´ & family

Heather and family, deepest sympathy to you, so very sad to read of Bruce's passing. Memories come rolling back to our times shared many years ago, Saturday night dinners at our home, friendship filled with laughter and good conversations.
