Bruce. The warm-hearted welcome that you and Sam gave me on my arrival in Thames was inspiring. Your passion for life and for getting things done was inspiring. Your generous sharing of ideas and offers of assistance in making a start went a long way toward my house buying in Thames decision. We are so very sorry that you won't be there to share our Thames story with. Rest in peace - you are one of life's good people.

Bruce. You made us so very welcome in Thames. Your enthusiasm and passion for the town and for life and 'getting on with it' were inspirational. The open-heartedness and generous sharing of ideas by you and Sam formed a big part of my decision to buy there and to move back to NZ.
You will be sadly missed my friend.

Brucie, you were an inspiration to me, you taught me no task was too big, and that none of my dreams were out of reach . I'm so glad my mother found her soul mate ( the male version of herself) and that we were able to share our lives with you even if only for a short time. Your memory will never leave us.
