I knew Bruce from our Cambridge High school days. We both travelled to school on the Karaprio school bus. If a breakdown was due it would always be on the trip home while going up the Golf Course hill.
Bruce was a happy and friendly guy. The last time we spoke was in late 2021. He would always be genuinely pleased to see you. He looked very happy and well.

A good soul gone too soon.

My sincere condolences to his family.

Dear Carol and Colin, well Tubs was my first boyfriend and I've never forgotten him or your lovely family. We remained friends for a long time and then caught up again through the Hautapu Rugby Club where Tubs and my ex hubby Phil Dent managed the seniors. He was a wonderful guy with a warm heart and a big smile, I have many memories with him through my high school years at Cambridge High. I am so terribly sorry for your loss Carol and Colin, Dad always spoke highly of Tubs and they remained in contact over the years. My deepest condolences to all of the family. xxxx I will never forget him

Condolences to your family on the sudden loss of Tub. We are the children of Ettie and Jack Smith. Ettie and Ruth were first cousins and we visited several times at your beautiful farm in Karapiro. RIP to a lovely young man. Keith and Brenda Smith
