Bruce McFARLANE Obituary

McFARLANE, Bruce On Saturday 19th July 2014, peacefully at Whakatane Hospital aged 72. Loved husband of Barbara. Beloved dad of Shane and Shelley. Treasured poppa of all his grandchildren. Loved step dad of Debi and Shane. Much loved brother of Judy and Gail. A memorial service for Bruce will be held in the Opotiki RSA, St John Street, Opotiki, on Wednesday 23rd July at 11am. Messages to the McFarlane family c/- PO Box 2070 Whakatane.

Bruce's life with us will always be remembered.

I am proud to say he was like a Dad to me, for over 25 years I have had you him in my life, how lucky was I!!

He was a hardworking, kind, considerate and a extremely generous man.

i have so many wonderful memories, when we were younger he always put up with all of Debi's friends at the house, either in Rotorua or Opotiki, he welcomed anyone with open arms, well actually normally a beer. Winking smile We have been cooked some amazing BBQ beer battered fish from Bruce and geez could he cook a great steak too!!

My visits back to Opotiki wont be the same without you their, but you will always be in our hearts and never be forgotten in our lives, be at peace now.
