Dear Hamish, Jo, Ellen and Fiona, I was very saddened to hear of the loss of your Dad. I have such wonderful memories of Bruce and cherish the times I spent at your family home and all the adventures that came along with being there. The openness and generosity Bruce showed to everyone and how welcome we all were to share his home will always be an inspiration. Both Bruce and Kirsty were such beautiful souls taken far too soon, my heart goes out to all of you. Ride free my friends.

Much love, Vanya

To Suzanne, Hamish, Joanne, Ellen & Fiona, and Family.

I am very sorry to hear of your loss.

To my dear friend Bruce thank you for your insights, your thoughts and your wisdom over the years.

Always remembered and never forgot.

“ I am fully convinced that the soul is indestructible, and that its activity will continue through eternity. It is like the sun, which, to our eyes, seems to set in night; but it has in reality only gone to diffuse its light elsewhere. ”

Goodbye old buddy. You have been a valued friend since Warkworth and Whangateau days. There are many ways you enriched my life; you challenged my thinking with your wisdom, made me laugh and introduced me to gin! I will miss you. Ros

I remember my Uncle Bruce as (at the impressionable age of sixteen) quoting Barry Stevens' "Don't Push the River" (Chrissy), and being deep in study of Gurdjieff at the time I was visiting he and Karen in NZ about 1972-3. He was a man that impressed me most of all by his actions; his love and commitment to his family, his love of the land...He told me last summer when I was there that he wanted his ashes spread at Ruatai where he felt he had really put his heart and soul...and having watched incredible video footage of the days on the farm there, I saw it!! He will be dearly remembered by all of my siblings, having impressed us all in a different way. Thank you Uncle Bruce for all that you have contributed to my life and those of us here in America who will forever remember and miss you. Thank you for the beauty of each and every cousin, sibling, grandchild, friend that you have left for all of us to love and care for. And thank you for Suzanne, what a blessing to have her in all of our lives... Always, Chrissy
