Bruce GIBBS Obituary

GIBBS, Bruce Curtis (Bruce). Born June 17, 1931. Passed away peacefully on September 28, 2021. The loved husband of Helen, father and father in law of Julie and Dave, Fraser and Miriam, Debbie and Grant, grandfather of Sam, Kelly, Jack, Matene, Damien and Amanda, and great grandfather of Kahu, Hayley, Keaton, Anthony and Nicole. A private cremation will be held and a remembrance service at a later date. Huge thanks to the staff at Ward 65 Auckland Hospital for the care given.

Hi Helen and family. Well Bruce's passing brought back a lot of memories starting from the races at Queens Birthday weekend and the Central Hotel. You have been on my mind as Norm McLeod passed away a short time ago and I got as far as looking you up in the white pages but did not think the address added up. Condolences to to you all on Bruce's passing. Although we haven't been in touch for many years I remember him well and always enjoyed his company. The Pickford family had many happy moments with the Gibbs's.RIP Bruce.

Sad to read of Bruce's passing. We have fond memories of the early years when our 2 families would get together. We know that Mum & Dad ( Ian & Bev) always treasured their friendship with Helen & Bruce and the good times they shared over the many decades.
