Dear Warren, Graeme, Gay and families,
Your dad was a very close friend of my father, Phil Butler. He was also my godfather. I always remember Bruce and Zoe with extreme fondness - visiting you all in Kihikihi (eating nectarines from your tree); going to Ohakea for the air pageant and the many visits to our home in Fitzroy, NP.
My sincere condolences to you all.
Love,

Lynne

We were privileged to have known Bruce for so many years as a neighbor, as a Probus member & as a friend, always enjoying his humour & opinions, our discussions & especially his love (& caring in latter years) for Zoe.
In the sadness of his sudden departure, we wish you all peace & happiness in your memories of a special man.

Warren, Graham, Gay ... and your families
I passed through Kihikihi just a week ago and took a detour through Carey St :) ... and reading that your Dad has passed on has led to another detour, this time down memory lane. Enjoy the memories as you reflect on his life - I have. He was a great guy to have around while we were all learning about the world. But I am also sure that your reflections, like mine, will be tinged with sadness. I'm sure you'll miss him.
Thinking of you all
Regards
Bill Anderson and Mary Simpson
