Bruce DAVIDSON Obituary
DAVIDSON, Bruce Nelson. Passed away peacefully on April 27th 2022, aged 84, after a courageous battle. Eldest son of the late Jean Winifred and George Adam Davidson. Brother of the late Robin Jeanette Sumner, Ross George Davidson and the late Fraser Minchin Davidson. Uncle Bruce to Richard Sumner, Catherine Young, Peter Sumner (Australia), Adam Davidson (Canada), Fraser Davidson (Canada) and their families. Special thanks to the staff at Canopy Cancer, Remuera Rise and Greenwood Medical Centre. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to The Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.nz/donate-now. Bruce was the first person I met on the Camino de Santiago. He walked with me and two other pilgrims for about 10 days in 2014. Here is a photo of Bruce with Sheilah (left, who finished with Bruce and passed away in 2022) and me in Bilbao. We took a day off and visited the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain. Buen Camino, Bruce!
