Bruce CAMERON Obituary

Cameron, Bruce Stewart. On January 30th 2026, Bruce passed peacefully surrounded by family, aged 79. Loved Husband of Margaret, Father and Father-in-Law of Iain and Biunca, Claire and Glen. Brother to John and, Lorraine, and Poppa to Layken, Jack, and Dexter. He will be sadly missed. A memorial service for Bruce will be held at the Pakuranga Chapel, Davis Funerals, 2A Udys Road, Pakuranga on Thursday 5th February at 10.30am. it was sad to know Bruce had passed away, although my wife and i didn't know Bruce for long, it was an honour for us to have been a part of his care team during his stay at MetLifecare Hylands, we knew Bruce to be a very polite gentleman, my wife and i enjoyed many conversations with him each of us during our own shift, my wife tells me one day during her night shift, she was helping Bruce in the cane lounge soon after his birthday, she gave Bruce a slice of his birthday cake and brought some to Margaret, Bruce then said to my wife " why don't you have a slice too" a true gentleman, thank you for sharing Bruce with us it was an honour to have known such an honourable noble man, buy for now Bruce
