Please accept our deepest sympathy in your sad loss of Bruce. We have known Bruce for a very long time.I Ellen from when he first went to Huntly College as the Music Master 68 years ago and Ray from 1960 as he is also a bandsman and he played with him in Kumeu Vintage band.I was in his choir at Huntly College 1954- 57.. He was a wonderful cornet player and being able to play Post Horn Gallop on a Post Horn at 90 years of age is unbelievable. RIP Dear Bruce, Ellen & Ray Daubney

Please extend to members of Bruce's family, our deepest sympathy in their loss. To see a photo of Bruce on his 90th birthday, still playing his trumpet and being honoured for his work with brass bands, brought back so many memories. Bruce was one of my very supportive music lecturers at Hamilton teachers' College and he played at our wedding, nearly 56 years ago! We will remember him next Tuesday especially.
