Bruce BALLARD Obituary
BALLARD, Bruce Syme. Passed away peacefully on Thursday 1 April 2021 at Te Aroha Community Hospital. Loved and best friend of Merle. Treasured father of David, Warren and Joanne. Adored poppa of Alex and Jade and great poppa of Zaelyn and Carter. A service to celebrate the life of Bruce will be held in St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Meura Street, Matamata Saturday, 10 April 2021 at 11am followed by the burial at The Matamata Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St John Matamata would be appreciated and may be left at the service. All communications to the Ballard family c/- 6 Tamihana Street, Matamata 3400. My thoughts and prayers are with you - I have sent them from a far. Really wish I could have been there in person. I have spent the past few days with memories from the past, like the family gatherings and roast lunches @ Anne St in Fielding. Bruce & Otto playing cribbage on the kitchen table - as they counted the score and moves, through to the time we went in search of my first Glow Warm. I was truly fascinated and remain so. Hang onto your good memories (and I am sure there are plenty) and he will forever remain in your hearts. Niece and cousin Chrissy
