Bronwen ROWSE Obituary

ROWSE, Bronwen Margaret. Born May 17th 1948. On Sunday 26th May 2024, in rural USA, passed away unexpectedly. She had been adventuring, making friends and telling stories. Dearly loved mother of Anita and Rachael, mother in law of Clinton. Adored Granny to Lachlan, Hannah, Dylan and Riley. You always knew when Bronwen entered a space, now the void she has left is deafening. Having finally returned to New Zealand with another story under her belt, a service to celebrate her life will be held on Wednesday 19 June at 11:00am, at Grahams Funeral Home Chapel, West St, Tuakau.

Bronwen and I shared a love of plants, gardening and working in plant nurseries. I got to know her well when we were both on the committee of the RNZIH (Auckland Branch). Although I had not seen her for some time, I still get a lovely reminder of her friendship every year when an orchid plant she gave me comes into flower and its beautiful fragrance wafts through my garden. Condolences to her family who meant so much to her.

Sorry to hear of Bronwen´s passing. She was always a mine of information on matters of Horticulture and always had a story to tell. R.I.P. Bronwen, and condolences to her family.
