Brigadier ANDREWS Obituary

ANDREWS, Brigadier (Retired) Raymond John (Ray) CBE. A712609 - Passed away peacefully on 29 March 2022, aged 87 years. Dearly loved husband of Laurie (Lorraine). Loved father and father-in-law of Craig and Catherine, Antony, and Hamish. Much loved special grandad of Aiden, Chelsea, Verity, Madeline, and great grandad of Daisy-Mae. A vaccinated service for Ray will be held at the All Saints Chapel, Purewa, 100 St Johns Road, Meadowbank on Wednesday 6 April 2022 at 2pm followed by a private cremation. Dear Lauri and family

We were very sad to read of Ray's death. We both enjoyed all the times we met up with you both. I have fond memories of all the games of golf I played with Ray.

Loraine and family, my love and condolence to you all.

A lesson taught by death concerns the importance of eternal families. Just as there are parents to greet a new born on earth, the scriptures teach that caring family members greet the spirits in paradise and assist them in the adjustments to a new life.
Ray now awaits is loving family to join him some day.
