Bridget WICKS Obituary

WICKS, Bridget (Bridie). Loving wife of Keith. Treasured mother of Maureen, Sean, Kieran, Fiona, Hugh, Bernadette, and Eileen. Mother-in-law of William, Magdalena, Gabrielle, Denis, Richard, and Howard. Beloved granny / mamo of Richard, Christine, Katherine and Michael; Calum, James and Emily; Daniel, Anna, Tom, Katie, Kieran and Erin; Kimberley, Hannah and Rebekah; Jessica and Mya. Special great grandmother of Taylor, Devon, Jasper, Cooper, Emilia, Maia, Victoria, Aria, Harry, Taane, Tahlia, Ciara, Nikau, Ilaria, Leo, Mila, and Luca. Bridie is laying in state at home in Torbay and the rosary will be said for her at 7pm on Sunday evening. All are welcome to visit home at any time. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Francis Catholic Church, 8 Finchley Road, Torbay at 11:00am on Monday 11 August. Followed at 2:30pm by interment at Auckland Memorial Park, Silverdale.

Sending love and condolences to Keith, Maureen, Sean, Kieran, Fiona, Hugh, Bernadette, Eileen and to all the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Bridie was a beautiful lady both inside and out. Fond memories of her trips back to Ireland with many family gatherings and a warm welcome when I visited Auckland in 1999. Rest in peace Aunty Bridie.
