Well remember Brian and Cathie in Wanganui, with my husband Allan Goddard and Jon Miller. The most lovely couple and a superb policeman. Our condolences to his family this is a sad day.

Hey Cathie, so sorry to hear of Brian's passing, he really was a very nice man and it was a pleasure to have known him. I remember the late nights at the police canteen, as well as the golf trips. He was a true friend to all who knew him. Condolences Bruce Temperton.

My condolences to Cathie and family, I have some special memories of Kilmister family gatherings, guitars playing , we're singing and Brian chipping in with "archicoo, archicoo", which none of us understood, and still have no idea what he meant ha ha, he was always so supportive of Phil Kilmister, a rebel teenager and young adult, Brian was always there to help out when he got into trouble with the law, as a Braves Committee member Brian was always straight up , he never minced words, and would stand by his views, my daughter Sarah commented to me on how she remembers interviewing Brian for a school project and when she asked if he was Scottish he got offended, obviously a very proud Irishman, I'm sorry I can't be with you today Cathie, arohanui to you, Mark, Riki, Dean and families
