SYMES, Brian Charles. 6 August 1930 - 18 July 2018. Passed away peacefully after a long illness, 1 month short of his 88th birthday. Loving husband of Joyce after 62 years of marriage. Loving Dad of Bruce and Sharon, Jan and Adrian, Lyn and Stephen, Kay and Barry, Barry and Lorraine, and Carol and Russell, loving 'Poppop' of 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, with twins on the way. 'Forever in our hearts'. Brian's funeral service will be held at the Manukau Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 361 Puhinui Rd, Papatoetoe on Monday 23 July 2018 at 11am.
