SMITH, Brian Peter. On the 13th of December 2025, Brian passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Auckland Hospital. Loved husband of Mary, loved father and father-in-law of Mark and Tracy, Phillip and Angela, Claire and Aaron, and loved Poppa of Cameron, Emma and Lewis, Caitlin, Abbey, Matthew and Anton, and loved great grandfather of Cassian. Requiem Mass to be held on Saturday the 20th of December at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, Parnell Rd at 10 am. Wear something colourful. May he rest in peace. Dear Phil and family, deepest condolences on your Dad's death. Brian was a someone I enjoyed talking to. It's will be a big raw break for every one and especially for Mary.
As you probably have heard from Nick and Kath, I am heading to Alexandra Headland with them and we will sadly miss Brian's funeral, which I feel bad about.
It's hard to find words to convey my sympathy as you go through this busy and difficult period. My thoughts are with you.
