So sorry to hear of Brians passing.

My first impression of him in 1990 was that of a tough cookie, but he was a gentle kind individual that helped me establish myself in Brazil 30 years ago.
We had some fun moments working together on his presentations and computer related topics.
He was always just a phone call away and never too busy to give advice.

I and my wife will miss him.
RIP old friend

Sad to hear belatedly of Brian's demise.
He was a great character, most helpful and a it was a pleasure to have worked with him over the years.
I and many others will miss him.

Brian M. Sinclair, CBE, ME, BE, QSM, CEng, FICE, FASCE was a real character and outstanding Engineer. He was a Member of the UK Institution of Civil Engineers for 70 years, a Fellow for over 50 years, and represented the ICE for over 40 years in the Americas. He travelled to New York in 2018 to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the ICE President – one amongst his other many honours. He’ll be remembered by his many friends and the many Brazilian engineers he helped on their way. Brian was enormously respected and will be sadly missed.

A real Kiwi and gentleman who helped many New Zealanders in Brazil (including myself). His in-depth knowledge of the country and the region helped new arrivals to settle in and navigate the mysterious by-ways of Brazilian bureaucracy. Over the years he was instrumental in assisting the successful introduction of NZ products and services and that is a legacy which will remain. R.I.P Brian
