Back in Calgary when I first started dating Tom he lived just one street over from his Dad, and I recall thinking how wonderful it must be to live so close to your Dad (when I was miles apart from my own). I will always remember Brian as a kind and gentle soul, who made me feel welcome from the moment Tom introduced us.
I always enjoyed hearing the stories and tales that Brian would share from his younger years, just as much as a Dad enjoyed telling them. Tom and I will forever cherish these special memories together and we will continue to share your stories for years to come.
Miss you and Love you lots Brian.
Love Always, Denise xo

Hey Dad,
I know that you sacrificed everything for us kids and for that, I will be eternally grateful. And even though you had a long life, I know that it was not an easy life. Your job is now done and it is time for you to rest. Know that a piece of you will always be a part of me and that this is not goodbye, for we shall meet again. Say hi to mom, I love you lots!

Ruth, my heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. While I didn't personally know Brian, I witnessed Ruth's loving dedication to her father in many ways while we worked at Bentall. I will never forget how Ruth would meticulously prepare and package up Brian's lunches and dinners to ensure they were just the way he liked them. She always spoke warmly about her visits with her father and what he was up to. He was truly a blessed man to experience such faithful love from his family.

My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Ruth and Michael, our thoughts are with you. Ruth, we did not know your Dad but he must have been a wonderful father to you. Your devotion to him was noticed each day when we would see you running to pick up food for his lunch. You moved close to him so that you could care for him. Because of this, he was so well looked after.

You truly were a wonderful daughter and your Dad was so lucky to have such a caring and loving daughter.

Much Love

My first memory of Brian was in Calgary with Karen, we went to the race track where he introduce us to his friends. He then proceeded to teach me on how to bet on the horses, which I thoroughly enjoyed. He will be sorely miss by all.
God bless

Although I did not have the honor of meeting you personally, I felt I knew you through Ruth's words and actions. Although I do not know all your children (only Ruth for a very long time) obviously you were a very fine person and your genes have apparently been duplicated in Ruth. I am sure you felt loved, considered and knew that your comforts and care were lovingly given. Now you are resting in God's hands for eternity leaving wonderful memories for your family.

I had the pleasure of meeting Brian when his daughter Ruth brought him to Bingo. He loved it and would win most times. I witnessed the many of times both her and Michael came to care for him, you can see the love there. My deepest sympathy to the family.

I never met Brian Lee but know his eldest Daughter Karen and know that Karen and her sister Ruth were exemplary daughters to their Dad. They and their spouses were dedicated to him for his food, comfort and companionship. I know of no daughters who have gone beyond the call of duty like Karen and Ruth have. Their Dad was a very lucky Dad and Karen and Ruth have much to be proud of in the way they cared for their Dad.
