Brian HEWLETT Obituary

Hewlett, Brian Douglas (Hewie). 20 May 1947- 30 March 2026 Passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's. Long loved husband and good mate of Gailene. Much loved father and father-in-law of Kate and Tim, Anna and Tristan, and Julie and Izzie. Cherished Poppa of Keira, Rita, River, Bowie, and Felix. Dearly loved son to the late Phyllis and Cecil, brother of Graeme and John and the late Margaret; favourite uncle, in-law, "outlaw," and great friend to many. The family would like to thank the staff of Kerikeri Retirement Village for the wonderful care they gave Brian over the past few years. RIP Hewie. A service to celebrate Hewie's life will be held at the Kerikeri Rugby Club Cnr Heritage Bypass and Waipapa Road, Kerikeri on Friday 10 April at 2pm.
