Brian Edwards Obituary

EDWARDS, Brian Eric. Passed away peacefully on 7th of January 2012 at home in Taumarunui (formally lived in Whitianga). Loved husband of Lorraine, Son In-law of Ivy, Father and Father In-law of Wayne and Helen, Craig and Shelley, Sue and Sarah, Dean and Leigh, Janine and Mike, Claire, Janet and Dave. Grandad of 18 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Special friend of Yvonne. Now at peace to roam the bush and sail the seas. A celebration of Brian's life will be held at St Paul's Cooperating Parish, Marae St, Taumarunui at 11:00am on 12th January 2012 (private cremation). No flowers by request. Dearest Lorraine and family,
Thinking of you and the laughs and help Brian gave to Graeme and I through the years. It was always a pleasure to see his smiling face and we hope he has success with his future fishing and hunting. Lots of love and see you in May,

Aunty Lorraine & all my cousins. Sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Brian. Have very fond memories as a kid both at Taumaranui (roaming the hills goat hunting etc) and at Whitianga (especially when Michelle told us all the Uncle Brian had a wormed with a blooded choak). RIP Uncle Brian and give Mum a hug from me when you see her.
