Brian DOUGHERTY Obituary

DOUGHERTY, Rev. Father Brian Francis. Peacefully at Calvary Hospital Invercargill on October 29, 2018. Much loved Priest of the diocese of Dunedin. Loved son of James and Margaret (both deceased). A loved brother and brother in law of Alma Jessie and Karel van Heezik (deceased), Dunstan (deceased) and the late Betty, Ian (deceased) and Norma, Eric (deceased) and Claire, and Wilma. A loving uncle of all his nieces and nephews. A Rosary for Fr Brian will be recited at the Calvary Hospital Chapel on Friday November 2, 2018 at 4.30pm. Prayers of the church will be prayed at St Mary's Basilica, 65 Tyne St Invercargill on Friday evening at 7.30pm. His Requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Basilica on Saturday November 3, 2018 commencing at 10.30am. His interment will follow at Eastern Cemetery. Requiescant in pace. J. Fraser and Sons Ltd

Lots of fun memories of fun Uncle Brian from his numerous trips to Ranfurly. Walks along the rail trail and sugar free sweets. Those Highlander candles he made back in the 90's were pretty sweet.
