Brian Dodd was the architect behind the rebuild of the Outward Bound facilities at Anakiwa in the 1980s. These buildings have been well used by tens of thousands of Outward Bound students in the intervening years.

Their design has lasted well and stood the test of time - as I look out the window today I see only buildings designed by Brian Dodd.

Our condolences to his family. Rest assured that his legacy lives on in the work of Outward Bound today - improvement to young New Zealanders' lives, and making New Zealand communities better for everyone.

On behalf of all the staff,

Simon Graney
