12 months today since you left us Dad.
Like a butterfly emerges and unfolds its gracious wings, a child grows and develops with the love a father brings.
I'm thankful for the times you encouraged me to try
For god gave me my wings, but YOU taught me to fly .....
love and miss you everyday dad xx

Dad, where do I begin...
"Thank you" for being such an amazing Dad.
For the memories, the crazy Sunday drives, where we didn't know where we were going, but there was always a bakery or fish and chip shop at the destination. The camping holidays to Red Beach, (teaching me to swim, and dive from your hands)for all the fun times, the trust and faith you had in me, and for being the best granddad to Travis and Ashleigh and being the best friend anyone could have. It was hard saying good bye to you in February when we were there, but we loved and laughed, and shared Liquorice Allsorts ... and that reminded me that you were still "dad" even with your illness. We will miss you, but feel so blessed to have had you, Love you today and always ......
