Profesor Brian Coote, may you Rest In Peace. You are always being rememberred with you warm, cheerfull and friendly heart, allowed me to share part of your house to stay during my university time in university of Auckland. We had 4 dinners together each week with other tenants, take turned to cook. You always cooked your best and share some cultural background of the meal you cooked, share some stories. I truely appreciate it.It has been 25 years, you are always being remembered as part of my life journey. Many thanks and Rest In Peace.

Dear Professor Coote

It is with great sadness that we learned of your passing.
You opened part of your house to us, mainly students of the Auckland university. Some of us might not visit you or kept in touch with you for many many years after we left Auckland university but we have not forgotten you. We have not forgotten your generosity and kindness; your witty and intelligent conversations.
We enjoyed having dinner together especially you made delicious fruit trifle, which we always remember with fondness. Although you liked our Asian food but our desserts always surprise' you.

You will be dearly missed.

Rest in peace.
