Brian taught me at Puhinui primary school.70 years ago I have never forgotten him he was an exceptional teacher who always brought out the very best in his pupils

Sincere condolences to the family. Brian taught me at Puhinui Primary School over 60 years ago and he has always remained in my memory for his perfect handwriting on the blackboard and his precise teaching ability that made lessons interesting.

Son of Reginald J.G Breen and Jessie Garrick. Grandson of Michael J. Breen and Annie Jennings; and James Garrick and Louise Lincoln. Great-grandson of Daniel Breen and Bridget Owens; William Jennings and Alice Murphy; James Garrioch and Janet Skae; and Frederick Lincoln and Mary Keetly. Great-great-grandson of James Garrioch and Janet Shearer; William P. Jennings and Anne Weale; Donald Skea and Elizabeth Skea; John A. Lincoln and Elizabeth Twidney; Jonathan W. Keetley and Sarah E. Taylor; James Murphy and Mary Grannel; Richard Owens and Bridget Cronin; and Daniel Cronin and Catherine Burke. Dad of Kerry, Wendy, Michael and Peter. Great-Grandad of numerous offspring and carrying on Sons of the above. Brother of Sylvia and the late Michael and Kenneth. Onetime husband / partner of the late Shirley, Leonie and Maria.
