BORLAND, Brian William. We are so saddened by the loss of Brian. Apart from being my friend of over 57 years, Brian was Best Man at Lynn and my wedding in 1964 and both Brian and Heather have been supportive of us ever since. Brian has played a major role in my earlier days as he invited me to join the very successful singing group, the Yeomen which he founded. We went on to a great few years together, making records, TV Shows, live performances even for royalty, the Queen Mother. We will all miss Brian and our sympathies go especially to Heather and the family. So long Brian, my extraordinary gifted guitarist and singer, reluctant violinist, supreme modeller, our friendship lasted over all these years. Peter and Lynn Carter and family.
