I first meet Brian when he was Chairman of Aon NZ during our start up phase and he subsequently employed me as CEO a role I held for 27 years .
Brian played a pivotal part in guiding the company´s growth in our formative years ,ensuring its success .From my perspective we had a great Chairman/ CEO relationship ,Brian was a mentor and a friend .
His integrity and sense of fair play were beyond reproach, his wisdom has been a guiding light for me for many years .
Regretfully circumstances has prevented me from attending today but my thoughts will be with Trish and family.
RIP Brian and thank you Geoff Blampied

To Trish & Family,
Our association with Brian and yourself during the KiwiFruit Industries years, will never be forgotten.
It was a great pleasure working with Brian, he was a excellent boss and mentor, and later a great business partner in KIL.
He had such a great influence in where we are today which we are so thankful for.
He was just a true gentleman and a wonderful person.
Thinking of you all at this very sad time.
Bill & Di Ingham.

Dear Trish and Family
It was with grerat sadness that I learned that Brian has passed away. He was a good friend and respected colleague. I enjoyed working with him and admired him enormously. I valued his advice and learned much from him. He had great integrity, an incisive mind and I rated him highly. He was an excellent contributor to every activity he became involved in.
I extend to you and your family my deepest sympathy. My prayers are with you.
Sincerely
Dryden Spring
