Brent SMALES Obituary

SMALES, Brent Ramon (Grizz). Passed away after a medical event at Mount Maunganui on March 18, 2023. Dearly loved son of Areta and the late John Smales, loved brother and Uncle of Debbie, Fraser, James, Anna, and Gower Robertson; Caroline, Mike, Laura, Jenna, and Tim Gooby; Scott, Geli, Luis, Chantal, Marco, and Tamara Smales; Loved nephew of Alistair and Jackie Smales; the late Lorna and the late John Gridgeman, the late Mary and the late Russell Cowie and all of his cousins. Grizz had lots of people he called friends, but he had many more mates both in New Zealand and around the world. He packed a lot into his 49 years. We are devasted that he has been taken to soon.
