GILLARD, Brent Damian. Brent, aged 51, passed peacefully on Saturday, 13 December 2025 with family by his side. Best friend and dearly loved husband of Janelle, devoted father of Zara and Zach. Much loved son of Kathryn and Vaughan, brother and brother-in-law of Kylie and Ian, Tania and Craig. Very dear to Janelle's parents Keith and Dawn, her brother Scott and his partner Miriam. A cherished uncle and cousin. A funeral service for Brent's family and closest friends will be held at Romaleigh Chapel, 31 Ocean View Road, Northcote on Monday, 22 December 2025 at 11am. Your determination and courage was an inspiration to us all. Lights will guide you home, we will miss you.

Sending my love and condolences to all the Gillard family. Brent is an incredible friend, colleagues, father, husband and human being. I have had the pleasure of both Brent and Janelle's friendship for a number of years. Many fond memories and huge admiration of your strength, courage and humility. Rest easy my brother, gone far too soon.
