Arohamai te whanau webby. Blair was my teacher at Pasadena intermadiate 1980. He was a great teacher and friend to all of us that he taught that year. He shouted 6 of his favourite students, myself included, to the kiss concert that year. He loved cricket and made us do yoga in the morning before we started our lessons. I vividly remember how he dressed like a hippie and that fro. Lol. My heart is deeply saddened by this news

Mr Webby, you were and will always be remembered as a Dilworth legend! Although we are deeply saddened of your passing, you will always live in our hearts. I am honestly so grateful to have had a teacher like you in my life - you were not just my maths teacher but also a life mentor on my journey too. I will always remember your warmth, humour, passion and energy, the life stories, advices and experiences you shared with me. Rest in Peace Mr Webby. Lots of love, Calvin, Daniel and Marie

Very sad to lose such an inspiration man. Blair taught my son at Dilworth over the past couple of years and they created a strong bond. He inspired him to achieve high, and dream big. I know Jordan is going to really miss their indepth chats and his humour next year. A hole that will never be filled. Love and support to his family at this time. Rest easy Webby xxxx

As a parent of a son at Dilworth, I appreciated Blair for his teaching ability and enthusiasm for the school. Above all his caring personality and good humour made him a much loved teacher, he will be missed by everyone.
